That's super fantastic man!!! Imo could use a little more contrast, but the proportions are beautifully executed! Keep it up

Thanks! I appreciate the feedback - showing contrast and shadowing is probably the hardest thing for me right now but I'll keep at it.

Now I am interested in getting that book as well, I am currently following Alvin lee's course and this might be my next one. This is an amazing drawing, your feel for anatomy is awesome

Cool! I worked through that book myself after reading through Van Gogh's letters. It's a very interesting approach.

wow how long have you been drawing? Is charles bargue a high level drawing course?

I started just before the new year. And it starts off for beginners, it's a series of sketches that it shows you how to approach them, and there's so goddamn many of them so it's a lot of practice, so if you do enough and keep at it there's bound to be a lot of improvements! A pdf link for the book is somewhere in these comments.
